Doug Drown is ready to give his sizzling season a serious heat check this Friday night (May 24) in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series 'Buckeye 50' at NAPA Auto Parts Wayne County Speedway.

A winner in six of his last seven starts over the past month, the 30-year-old driver from Wooster, Ohio, enters Friday's action at the three-eighths-mile oval as the hottest dirt Late Model driver in the Buckeye State. Drown Continues Hot Streak with Two More Feature Wins!!!
(May 19, 2013) The Sean Weekley Racing (SWR) team and driver Doug Drown knocked down two more feature wins over the May 17-18 weekend in their home state of Ohio. On Friday night at the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, Doug won his heat race in preliminary action and later took home the $1,000 payday in the weekly Late Model feature event over Keith Berner, Ryan Markham, Keith Barbara, and Corey Conley!

At the Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio on Saturday evening, the ADRA Series rolled into town to sanction a $2,000 to win program. Doug laid down the quickest lap during the qualifying session and ran second in the dash to earn the outside front row starting spot for the 30-lapper. The Wooster, Ohio ace then grabbed the point around the halfway mark in the race and drove to his seventh victory of 2013 over JR Gentry, George Lee, Charlie Duncan, and Todd Brennan. Doug Drown Gets Win #5 of 2013 at WVMS!!!
(May 12, 2013) Wooster, Ohio ace Doug Drown and the Sean Weekley Racing (SWR) team racked up their fifth feature win of 2013 on Saturday night, May 11 at the reconfigured West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, West Virginia! Doug won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the 15-lap Super Late Model feature event from the pole position. Drown and SWR Pocket $12,000 for Southern 100 Triumph!!!
(May 5, 2013) Doug Drown picked up the biggest win of his career on Saturday night, May 4 at the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio, as he won the 18th Annual 'Southern 100!' Doug ran fifth in heat race action, but later finished sixth in the dash to earn the outside third row starting spot for the 60-lap main event. During the course of the unsanctioned race, the Wooster, Ohio ace grabbed the point on lap 26 from leader Steve Francis and held the top spot for much of the remainder of the distance. When the dust had settled at SOS, Doug was celebrating a $12,000 triumph for beating R.J. Conley, Mike Marlar, Josh McGuire, and Austin Hubbard to the checkers!

On Friday evening, May 3 at Southern Ohio Speedway, a $4,000 top prize was on the line in the 'Southern 100' Qualifier. Doug laid down the fastest lap in his group during the time trial session and was leading his heat race until an unfortunate incident with a lapped car. After battling back to grab a fourth place finish in his prelim, Doug then blasted past eleven competitors during the 40-lapper. SWR Sweeps Weekend for $3,000 at Midway & Hilltop!
(April 28, 2013) The 2013 win total for the Sean Weekley Racing (SWR) team now stands at three following a weekend sweep in their home state of Ohio! On Friday night, April 26 at the Midway Speedway in Crooksville, Ohio, Doug Drown timed in sixth quickest during qualifying and later ran second in heat race action. After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the unsanctioned A-Main, Doug stormed to the front to record the $2,000 victory over Donnie Moran, Michael Davis, Andy Bond, and Sam Stile.

At the Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio on Saturday evening, April 27, Doug laid down the quickest lap during the qualifying session prior to finishing fifth in the inverted dash. The Wooster, Ohio ace then blasted from the fifth starting spot to claim the $1,000 weekly triumph at Hilltop!

(April 21, 2013) Doug Drown and the #63 SWR team rolled into the Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio on Saturday night, April 20 for a $2,000 to win unsanctioned program. Doug posted the fastest lap during the qualifying session and later placed second in the dash. The Wooster, Ohio ace then enjoyed a strong run during the A-Main and eventually crossed underneath the checkers in the second spot behind only winner Tyler Carpenter. SWR Flexes Muscle During Mike Sampson Memorial
(April 14, 2013) The Sean Weekley Racing (SWR) team and driver Doug Drown wound up at the I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, West Virginia on Saturday, April 13. The unsanctioned 'Mike Sampson Memorial' took place at the Mountaineer State venue and a $2,007 top prize was on the line. Doug laid down the fastest lap during the qualifying session and later won the dash to earn the pole position for the night's 37-lap main event. The Wooster, Ohio ace then led 2/3 of the A-Main distance before finishing a strong runner-up behind only winner Chris Garnes. Drown Sets NTR in Qualifying at Southern Ohio Speedway!
(April 7, 2013) Wooster, Ohio native Doug Drown and the #63 SWR team trekked south to the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio on Saturday, April 6 for the track's season opening event. Doug set a New Track Record of 16.071 seconds during the qualifying session and later ran a close second in his heat race. He was then battling for the lead during the $2,000 to win feature event when he slipped a little high and smacked the outside retaining wall. (March 31, 2013) Doug Drown and the Sean Weekley Racing (SWR) team returned to action in a big way on Saturday night, March 30 at the Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio! Doug laid down the fastest lap during the qualifying session and later finished third in the dash after getting inverted four spots. The Wooster, Ohio ace then started the weekly Dirt Late Model main event from the inside of the second row and grabbed the point on lap five. Winternationals Nightly Results from East Bay Raceway Park
(February 16, 2013) A busy day wrapped up the 'DART Winternationals' today for the #63 team, as a $7,000 to win afternoon show at East Bay Raceway Park took place before the $10,000 to win finale at night. During the afternoon affair, Doug Drown finished seventh in his heat race and fifth in his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the 35-lap feature event. At night, Doug ran second in heat race action and advanced all the way up to second in the 60-lapper before an untimely flat tire helped drop him to a disappointing sixteenth place effort.

(February 15, 2013) Doug Drown nearly recorded his first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series triumph tonight at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida! After timing in third quickest in his group during qualifying and winning his stacked heat race, Doug rolled off from the outside of the front row in the $10,000 to win feature event. The Wooster, Ohio ace then paced the stellar field for the first 38 circuits before giving up the point to Don O'Neal. Doug hounded O'Neal throughout the remainder of the 50-lap distance, but was forced to settle for an impressive runner-up performance.

(February 14, 2013) Tonight's $7,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdown at the "Clay by the Bay" has been rained-out. Series officials announced that this show will take place on Saturday afternoon, February 16, as part of a day-night doubleheader. More news available at www.lucasdirt.com.

(February 13, 2013) The Sean Weekley Racing (SWR) team was back in action tonight in a rain-marred 'DART Winternationals' event at the East Bay Raceway Park. Doug Drown laid down the sixth quickest lap in his group during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the eighth row in the $7,000 to win feature event, Doug earned Hard Charger honors by passing ten competitors in 27 circuits before the race was called due to rain. The Wooster, Ohio native finished a solid sixth behind only winner Dennis Erb, Jr., Tyler Reddick, Eric Jacobsen, Mike Marlar, and Jimmy Owens.

(February 12, 2013) Round two of the 'DART Winternationals' took place tonight at East Bay and another $5,000 top prize was on the line. Doug Drown unfortunately suffered a flat tire during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying and did not post an official time, but was later able to move up to seventh in his heat race. After grabbing the second transfer spot in his B-Main, Doug rolled off from the outside of the tenth row in the 25-lap main event. The Wooster, Ohio ace then climbed up three spots during the A-Main on his way to a seventeenth place finish.

(February 11, 2013) Doug Drown and the Sean Weekley Racing (SWR) team opened up their 2013 campaign tonight in the 'Winternationals' lid lifter at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida. Doug timed in tenth quickest in his group during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying, but did not get much luck after that. He was caught up in a heat race incident that dropped him to an eleventh place finish and later wound up ninth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, Doug was not able to advance into tonight's $5,000 to win feature event, which was won by Dennis Erb, Jr.
